Goals Change. So Should Treatment Plans.

NeuroHope offers multiple programs that work together to complete a continuum of care for people living with paralysis. Each program revolves around intensive, activity-based therapy and exercise that focus on neurologic weaknesses to retrain the nervous system, maximize recovery, and improve quality of life.

Our programs begin with a thorough evaluation to measure balance, mobility, strength, gait (if appropriate) and functional tasks. Clients may enroll in one or more programs as improvement evolves and goals change. Self-pay programs may also be performed in conjunction with outpatient therapy at other facilities.

Specialized Physical / Occupational / Speech Therapy

Individualized sessions with licensed clinicians providing aggressive neurological physical and / or occupational therapy. Our activity-based sessions focus on improving weaknesses and activating the nervous system. Evaluations are performed every 90 days to monitor progress and update plan of care.

Aquatics, Floor and Mat Work, Standing/Weight Bearing Activities, Gait Training, Lokomat Robotic Gait Training, Body-Weight Support Locomotor Training, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Whole Body Vibration, BITS Balance Training

*Please note: New patients must be discharged from any other outpatient physical or occupational therapy program before they are eligible to bill insurance for therapy at NeuroHope.  Patients can, however, participate in any self-pay program at NeuroHope if they are receiving therapy elsewhere.

Guided Adaptive Exercise

One-on-one training with a Neuro Exercise Specialist. These 60 minute sessions can be used as an extended rehabilitation service or after insurance-covered therapy visits are exhausted. Training sessions utilize therapeutic interventions and place an added focus on strength, mobility, balance, and flexibility and are led by American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), International Science Association (ISSA), or National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) certified kinesiologists.
